(antiMusic) Can't make it to Metallica's unplugged appearances at this year's Bridge School benefit concerts next month? You're in luck as the band plan to offer recordings of their performances online on their official bootleg site livemetallica.com. Here is the brief announcement from the band: "We're still stuck in the studio, but when we were invited to participate in the 21st Annual Bridge School shows, we just couldn't say 'no'. We're going to record both nights (October 27th and 28th at Shoreline Ampitheatre in Mountain View, CA) and have them (at www.livemetallica.com) for you shortly after.
"It's an acoustic show that NEIL YOUNG puts together each year in the Bay Area, and this is the second time for us. And all proceeds from the sale of downloads from these two shows will go to the Bridge School."
From Metallica's previous PR about the appearance: As usual, the line-up is stellar and we're looking forward to seeing TOM WAITS, Eddie Vedder (with Flea & Jack Irons), JOHN MAYER, of course NEIL YOUNG, and others perform those days.
