George Harrison The Movie

(Gigwise) Martin Scorsese has been snapped up to direct a film about the life of George Harrison. The Hollywood director will be making the film in collaboration with George's wife Olivia, while Variety Magazine is reporting that Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr may take part.

Upon taking up the job, he said "Harrison's music and his search for spiritual meaning is a story that still resonates today."

The film will not only look at Harrison's time in The Beatles, but also his private life and his involvement with Monty Python's 'Life of Brian' and Time Bandits. - more on this story
