(PR) Mega-producer, Jay Baumgardner, is currently mixing and producing another album with Bz, Japans most successful music group. Working with Baumgardner at his famed NRG Recording Studidos are Engineer Sergio Chavez along with Assistant Engineers Dave Colvin and Casey Lewis. The Bz are set to release the album on their own label, Vermillion, and have sold over 42 million albums since the bands formation in 1988. They currently hold the record for the most consecutive #1 hits in Japan, with an astonishing 39 singles from 1990 to 2007. Baumgardner is known for his uber-production skills and mixing talent, displayed with such artists as Evanescence, Helmet, Orgy, Seether, Papa Roach, Alien Ant Farm and Godsmack.
Jay Baumgardner is the President of NRG Recording Studios, located in North Hollywood, CA, where John Fogerty recently recorded his new album, Revival set for release on October 2nd through Fantasy Records. Grammy-Award winning engineer Jim Scott along with Assistant Engineer Dave Colvin also worked on the recording of Fogertys album. The album features some of the greatest musicians in the business including drummer Kenny Aronoff, guitarist Hunter Perrin, bassist David Santos and special guest Benmont Tench on keys. John and Jim also worked together on The Long Road Home concert DVD and CD at NRG Studios.
