(antiMusic) Neil Young is heading out on the road next month in support of his new album "Chrome Dreams II". The tour kicks off on October 18th in Boise, two days after the album hits stores and will run through mid December with a two night stand in New York.Fans that purchase tickets to any of the shows will also receive a copy of the album, according to Filter. We're not sure if that includes the two night Bridge School Benefit which takes place on October 27th and 28th.
The benefit shows will also include performances by Metallica, Jerry Lee Lewis, Eddie Vedder with Flea & Jack Irons, Tom Waits and Kronos Quartet, John Mayer, Tegan & Sara and Regina Spektor. Tickets went on sale Sunday at $150.00 and $75.00 for reserved seating and $39.50 for general admission plus all the added Ticketmaster service / rape charges.
