(PR) Los Angeles punk rock icons Lee Ving and Keith Morris will be featured in Lighthouse Entertainments upcoming teen comedy, Endless Bummer, currently in production. Circle Jerks lead vocalist Morris (formerly of Black Flag) and Ving, who is perhaps best known as the frontman for the infamous early punk band Fear, will be featured in cameo roles. Ving has multiple acting credits under his belt, including film and television appearances in Clue, Flashdance, and Whos the Boss. Morris has appeared in small roles in films including Sid and Nancy and Dont Be a Menace to South Central While Drinking Your Juice in the Hood. Morris and Ving join Joan Jett on the roster of rock veterans appearing in the production.
Directed by Sam Pillsbury, the films ensemble cast includes Matthew Lillard (Scooby-Doo, What Love Is), Aussie film star Khan Chittenden (Introducing the Dwights), rock legend Joan Jett, James Remar (Dexter, Ratatouille), Jane Leeves (Frasier), Caitlin Wachs (Divine Secrets Of The Ya Ya Sisterhood, Kids In America), Allison Scagliotti (One Tree Hill, The TV Set), Colton James (Austin Powers: The Spy Who Shagged Me, The Cell), Ray Santiago (Meet the Fockers) and Andy Fischer-Price (Surfs Up).
When a surfboard is stolen from a Ventura, California beach one sunny day during the summer of 1984, its anguished owner takes to the road with his band of misfit friends and drives to the San Fernando Valley to confront the culprit and recover his prized possession. Currently shooting on location in Ventura and the San Fernando Valley, the film is based on the real-life experiences of screenwriter John J.D. Drury.
