Baumgardner is known for his uber-production and mixing skills on such artists as Evanescence, Helmet, Orgy, Seether, Papa Roach, Alien Ant Farm and Godsmack. Baumgardners proven touch has helped to guide some of the most innovative and energetic artists of the last decade.Recently, Baumgardner also lent his mixing talents to Powerspace on their recent The Kicks of Passion, released on Fueled By Ramen, as well as the Don Gilmore produced Scary Kids Scaring Kids, self-titled album set for release later this month. The combination of these exciting artists and Jays talents on the board are bringing a new power to the rock music scene. Currently, Jay Baumgardner is the President of NRG Recording Studios, located in North Hollywood, CA. This top line recording studio features state of the art equipment, all purpose studios, even a celebrated chef.
