(antiMusic) Bad news for our friends Down Under as Social Distortion have pulled out of the Soundwave Festival 2008. They weren't really specific about why they pulled out simply saying in a statement on their website, "Due to circumstances beyond our control, Social Distortion is regrettably unable to perform at Soundwave Festival 2008 in Australia and must officially withdraw from the bill."Our sincere thanks to the Soundwave organizers for their support and understanding. We apologize for any inconvenience to our Australian fans and hope to make it there as soon as possible."
At press time the band was still listen on the festivals website.
