(PR) NYC-based singer/songwriter Tom Laverack will release his third solo album, Cave Drawings, in January 22, 2008 on Sojourn Records.The shimmery, rootsy vibe combines the broad appeal of Bruce Springsteen's populist rock anthemics and the cult-like devotion of T Bone Burnett's noirish folk balladry, with flecks of Bill Mallonee, David Baerwald and Mark Eitzel glittering in the bottom of his songwriting pan. With a world weary voice and a guarded optimism, Tom Laverack has created a quietly powerful set of songs that subtly tightens its grip with every successive listen.
