(PR) High-energy pop-rock duo Oh No Not Stereo are busy tracking their second full-length album in not one, but four different studios in their hometown of Los Angeles. The band is handling their own production, but have enlisted an impressive team comprised of Jim Wirt (Incubus, Live, Something Corporate) to assist with instrumentation; Max Coane (Jack's Mannequin, The Rocket Summer, The Bronx) to assist with production; and Neal Avron (Fall Out Boy, Yellowcard, Everclear) to mix the record. With a total of 15 tracks expected to make the cut, Oh No Not Stereo have found themselves heading in a slightly-new direction on their sophomore effort. The heavy use of pianos throughout the record, as well as the addition of a full quartet on nine of the songs, suggests the end result will likely be described as melodic rockwith a twist of timelessness.
Oh No Not Stereo are anticipating a first quarter 2008 release date for their new LP. In the meantime check out - www.ohnonotstereo.com
