(antiMusic) Bruce Springsteen is once again the boss on the album charts, barely beating out last week's No. 1 from Kid Rock during an extremely slow sales week. Springsteen's latest album "Magic" sold just 77,000 copies last week but that was enough to top the charts. Three week's ago he debuted at the top of the charts after selling 335,000 copies. Kid Rock topped the charts last week with his "Rock N Roll Jesus" but undersold Springsteen by just a couple hundred copies this past week putting him at No. 2. Rascal Flatts' retained third place with 70,000 CDs sold last week while Josh Groban celebrated Christmas early with his "Noel" taking a hop up the chart from 10 last week to No. 4 this week. Jimmy Eat World's latest "Chase This Light," debuted at No. 5 with 62,000 copies despite lackluster promotion from their new label Interscope. While their 2004 effort also debuted at No. 5, it had first week sales of 99,000 copies. Santana also made a debut in the top 10 this week, his "Ultimate Santana" sold 56,000 copies to land at No. 8.
