(Contact Music) Pop superstar PRINCE has been named in a $1 million (GBP500,000) lawsuit after allegedly failing to pay computer goods worth $12,000 (GBP6,000).

Ian Lewis filed a the lawsuit at Los Angeles Superior Court on Wednesday (17Oct07), claiming the Purple Rain hitmaker breached a contract by taking "several hard drives used for video production" and not paying for them.

He further claims the singer returned a loaned $25,000 (GBP12,500) computer "in a broken and un-fixable condition." - more on this story
