(antiMusic) A lot of rock stars have vanity projects attached to their names that have little to do with music but U2 are aiming for the sky with their latest one. That's right, Ireland will (not so)soon be home to a skyscraper carrying the band's name. Gigwise have the report: U2 are to put their name to the first ever skyscraper to be built in Ireland. The €200 million, 'U2 Tower,' will be built in the Docklands region of Dublin and will stand at 120m tall.
According to PA, the band will move their recording studio to the summit of the tower when it is opened in 2011.
