(PR) Sondre Lerche will perform "To Be Surprised" from the original soundtrack for the upcoming Touchstone Pictures film Dan In Real Life on "Late Show with David Letterman" tomorrow, October 16th. The film and the soundtrack are both scheduled for release next week.The acclaimed Norwegian singer-songwriter and his band, The Faces Down, will launch a North American tour on November 7th in Vancouver, BC. Highlights include a two-night stand at the legendary Troubadour in Los Angeles (November 12th & 13th) and shows at Brooklyn's Music Hall of Williamsburg (November 26th) and New York City's Bowery Ballroom (November 27th).
The soundtrack for Dan In Real Life, which was produced by Sondre Lerche, Mitchell Leib and Dana Sano, features 13 tracks recorded exclusively for the movie, including four new songs penned by Lerche and seven cue tracks from the score, which he composed as well. The collection also includes appearances by two rising new artists: A Fine Frenzy, who perform a searing version of the Peggy Lee classic "Fever," and Regina Spektor, who duets with Lerche on "Hell No."
