(Contact Music) Former LYNYRD SKYNYRD drummer ARTIMUS PYLE has been arrested for the second time in eight days after again failing to register as a sex offender. The 59-year-old - real name Thomas Delmer Pyle - was arrested by Florida police on Tuesday (27Nov07) at one of the three addresses he had given to authorities the previous week (19Nov07), when he was taken into custody for the same offence. Pyle pleaded guilty in 1993 to charges of attempted sexual battery on a victim younger than 12 and also principal to lewd and lascivious acts on a child under 16-years-old. He was sentenced to eight years' probation and ordered to register as a sex offender. But, having ignored police warnings from his 19 November (07) arrest, he was picked up by cops on Tuesday and is currently being held on $50,000 (GBP25,000) bond, according to Sergeant Chuck Mulligan. - more on this story
