(Gigwise) A slightly insignificant piece of news in the light the NME's 'character assassination', but Morrissey has penned a deal with Decca/Polydor records. The artist is currently recording his new album and will release it through the imprint, having left Sanctuary Records following the release of his last effort 'Ringleader of the Tormentors' in 2006. In a bit of good news, the former Smiths frontman has completely sold out his six night residency at London's Roundhouse in January. - Read about the [PC] NME controversy here
