(antiMusic) We told you on Monday about how Red Hot Chili Peppers bassist Flea lost his $4.8 million Malibu home to recent fire in the region. Flea was not living at the home, in fact he had it on market for sale but we have learned that he was renting it to former Marvalous 3 frontman turned ubber producer Butch Walker (Advil Latrine, Fall Out Boy, etc etc) and Walker said in a statement that he lost everything in the blaze. According to reports, A family friend was forced to evacuate Walker's family from the home, while the singer/songwriter/producer was in New York City on tour. Walker said the following in a statement sent to MTV "I had just consolidated my entire recording studio from Atlanta into the house in Malibu. I lost everything I've ever owned. Every master of every song I've ever recorded, every piece of recording equipment, guitars, drums and things I've collected over the years, cars, motorcycles, every family memorial, heirloom, picture, and document we ever had....Gone. I feel like I finally know the difference between 'going back' and 'going home.'" - Original report on the fire
