(Filter) After a whirlwind year of numerous releases and non stop touring, Deerhunter have announced that the band will be taking some time apart. The announcement, made by frontman Bradford Cox, was released via the band's blog. Citing that they are in need of some time to organize their lives, Deerhunter's upcoming December show in Barcelona will be their last gig for an unspecified period of time. Cox also promised that their blog will continue to be updated on the occasion with future entries focusing on the band's outside projects.
