(PR) Fresh off her nearly three-month summer 2007 tour across the U.S with fellow Detroit native and legendary rocker Ted Nugent, singer-songwriter Alex Winston is gearing up for a series of dates in November and December opening for artists in a multitude of genres.
The 19-year-old rock based performer launches her slate of performances with several dates in Michigan, opening for Grammy nominated country singer Miranda Lambert on November 9 at The Intersection in Grand Rapids and singer-songwriter Matt White at The Shelter in Detroit on November 10.
Two weeks after Winston performs for the Veterans Day program at the VA hospital in Ann Arbor, she heads to Ohio for an opening date in Toledo with Ekoostic Hookah at Headliners. From December 5 through 22, she is opening five shows for the popular Detroit rock band Electric Six. The first stop is the Mercy Lounge in Nashville (December 5), followed by Birdy's in Indianapolis (December 6), Mad Hatter in Covington, Kentucky (December 7) and Grog Shop in Cleveland (December 8) before wrapping just before Christmas at Logan Square Auditorium in Chicago on December 22. - more on this story
