The record – their first studio recording in 28 years – has trounced Britney Spears' 'Blackout' in the battle for number one on both sides of the Atlantic, and Henley has hinted that this feat won't be repeated again.

The drummer/vocalist said: "This is the final statement. We got back together and went around the world twice on tour but then there was nothing left to do without new music.
