(antiMusic) Better late than never, we received the following info about the Donnas Euro tour already underway: Following the band’s seventh full-length release (and first on the girls’ own label!), Bitchin’, The Donnas have just crossed the pond for a month of European dates. The tour kicked off in Manchester, England at Academy 3 last night. Initial reports indicate that it totally kicked ass.
This past Friday, The Donnas finished a two-month string of US dates at The Roxy in West Hollywood, CA. Audiences were treated to the usual Donnas fare—fist-pumping, in your face rock tunes, heightened even more by The Donnas newfound independence of owning their own label—Purple Feather Records (available through Red Eye Distribution). If you thought these four girls couldn’t have more ‘tude, you haven’t seen the new, fully independent Donnas.
