(CMJ) Ryan Adams is back with the June 26 release of Easy Tiger (Lost Highway), marking his first release since unleashing three LPs in 2005. Backed by his trusty band the Cardinals for his ninth full-length release (though Easy Tiger is billed as a solo recording), Adams finds his way back to the signature sounds of Heartbreaker and Gold, even receiving vocal help from Sheryl Crow on "Two." But perhaps the highlight of the new album is "Halloweenhead," in which Adams hones his band-leadership skills by unexpectedly shouting "guitar solo!" before wailing away on his instrument.[see full story for more] - Click here for the Full Story
