Locomotive Blitzkrieg on May 22nd

05/11/07
.
(PR) A flurry of four releases makes May 22 one of the busiest days of the year for Locomotive Records.

German Power Metal: The new Silent Force is everything Power Metal aspires to be. With Guitar Hero Alexander Beyrodt, vocalist DC Cooper, bassist Jurgen Steinmetz, drummer Andre Hilgers and keyboardist Torsten Rohre, Walk The Earth is a stunning 12-track tour-de-force. Produced by Dennis Ward (Angra, Krokus) with the same attention to detail he brought to SF’s ’04 Worlds Apart, their fourth album since 2000 is a brand new release.

German Thrash: Originally released in October of 2006, Reckless Tide’s Helleraser continues the all-out thrash blitz of 2005’s Repent Or Seal Your Fate debut. Produced by Henning Pfeiffer, with their signature two-singer concept, RT has (again) added Annihilator’s Jeff Waters and Dew Scented’s Hendrik Bache to augment its sextet format.

German Death Metal (with Scottish pagan folk): Originally released in October of 2006, Suidakra’s Caledonia is a schizoid amalgam of insane proportions, waffling between Death and Folk Music, complete with bagpipes, clean vocals and death vocals amidst an inherent pummel that bludgeons the listener. Guitarist/vocalist Marcel Schoenen is back after his year-long sabbatical to join guitarist Arkadius Antonik, bassist Marcus Riewaldt and drummer Lars Wehner for this eighth Suidakra effort.

One of Spain’s most popular Heavy Metal bands, Lujuria, gets the best-of treatment when Locomotive releases Lo Mejor De, 12 tracks of Spanish Metal that show why this concert attraction is as popular now as when it started.
