New Found Glory Leave Geffen

03/21/07
.
(PR) Platinum selling artist NEW FOUND GLORY has amicably parted ways with Geffen Records after 7 years with the label. NEW FOUND GLORY released five albums with Geffen Records including the gold selling albums, Sticks And Stones, New Found Glory (ST), and Catalyst. Geffen “up-streamed” NEW FOUND GLORY from Drive-Thru Records in 2000. Speaking on behalf of the band, guitarist Chad Gilbert expressed the group’s gratitude and enormous appreciation for the fantastic years the band spent with Geffen. He also said, “that the band is really excited about the future.” In addition to splitting from Geffen, NEW FOUND GLORY has also parted ways with Rick DeVoe Management. Gilbert states that “the band and management have split on good terms. We’re very grateful for everything Rick and his staff have done for us.”
NEW FOUND GLORY has returned to Drive-Thru Records for their next release, From The Screen To Your Stereo Part 2. Out this fall, From The Screen To Your Stereo Part 2 is a collection of theme songs from classic movies covered by the band and features cameos by artists who are friends of NEW FOUND GLORY.
