(PR) Eagle Vision Classics will release an enticing tandem of Irish culture on DVD in July. On July 10, Live Over Ireland: Water From The Well by The Chieftains will see these beloved folk artists travel to those geographical locales that have stayed in their souls to influence their art over the course of their long and celebrated career. The stories they tell, the songs they sing, the lilting music they play, will ring out on this special DVD experience with profound resonance as the viewer accompanies Derek Bell, Kevin Conneff, Martin Fay, Sean Keane, Matt Malloy and Paddy Maloney throughout the heart of Ireland. The 110-minute DVD sells for $11.98 and includes 13 tracks: “Bean An Fhir Rua,” “The Kilfenora Set,” “The May Morning Dew,” “The Galician Set,” “Dusty Miller,” “Live From Matt Molloy’s Pub,” “First House Of Connaught,” “Guadalupe,” “An Poc Ar Buile,” “The Dingle Set,” “Planxty George Brabazon,” “The Donegal Set,” “The Star Of The County Down.” On July 24, Live In Concert: On The Road Live In Germany by The Dubliners will feature an entire evening of traditional Irish revelry as performed by this most pre-eminent Irish institution of alltime, as well as an “on-the-road” documentary, all in one 106-minute DVD $11.98. Formed in 1962, it’s been 45 years of reels, sea shanties, hoedowns, folk, pop, country, Celtic, gospel, waltzes, ballads, bluegrass, dances and humor—not to mention wisdom—in their grooves. This 27-track concert experience puts it all together to create a seamless whole, one borne in the amazing—almost telepathic—interplay between the musicians and the unerring sense of family and love that pours out of these internationally acclaimed legends. Tracks include “Opening Reels,” “The Rare Old Mountain Dew,” “Kelly, The Boy From Killane,” “The Job Of Journeywork,” “The Irish Rover,” “Among Friends,” “John’s Schuhplattler & Down The Broom,” “Lord Of Our Hopefulness,” “The Sick Note,” “Whiskey In The Jar,” “I’ll Tell Me Ma,” “The Ballad Of Saint Anne’s Reel,” “Barney’s Banjo Solo,” “Finnegan’s Wake,” “Song For Ireland,” “The Town I Loved So Well,” “Nora,” “Rocky Road To Dublin,” “Dirty Old Town,” “Cill Chais,” “Mandolin Duet,” “Dicey Reilly,” “Oro Se Do ‘Bheatha Bhaile.”
