Ditto Does it Again

(PR) On Sunday 17th June 2007 Ditto made chart history again by getting Koopas follow-up single in at number 21 in the UK Top 40. Ditto Music made chart history in January 2007 by putting the first unsigned band into the UK Top 40. The single by Essex band Koopa debuted at number 31. Dittos digital marketing strategies were key in the success of the single and their unique services helped the band to once again prove that independent music has a voice and needs to be heard.Ditto Music began as two musicians/industry workers who believed that too much independent music was being ignored. Artists are always chasing the ever-elusive 'Record 'Deal' and more and more of the chart is what the majors give us. Plenty of unsigned artists want to release a record - but there was never (until now) anything in place to do that. It is fair to say that Ditto revolutionised the industry - the usual business model of unsigned artists chasing labels has finished. Artists can release what they want, when they want, where they want and on their own terms. Ditto are still the ONLY company in the UK to offer this service. Ditto are also set to launch their own e-commerce site exclusively for their artists and labels on 25th June 2007 making them the first distributor to do so.[see full story for more] - Click here for the Full Story
