More astonishingly for an album that was released four decades ago, according to the Gracenote database, The Beatles' signature album in just the last month has outranked albums by hitmakers Christina Aguilera ("Stripped"), Gwen Stefani ("The Sweet Escape"), The Killers ("Hot Fuss"), Coldplay ("X&Y"), and Eminem ("The Marshal Mathers LP"), all of whom are considered some of today's most popular artists.
