(antiMusic) There is one thing you can count on from Perry Farrell. No, it's not releasing hitless albums. It's his forming groups that fall apart quickly. Such is the case with his latest band, Satellite Party. TuneLab has a report that the band just lost two key members. TuneLab reports: "Just as the Satellite Party prepare for their North American tour, guitarist Nuno Bettencourt and drummer Kevin Figg have announced their departure from the band. Nick Perri of Silvertide will fill in on guitar and Jordan Plosky will fill in on drums." Not many details are really known about the departure and we don't know of any reality shows that Nuno and Kevin were taking part in. However, Blabbermouth ran this statement from Nuno: "I worked with Perry Farrell for over three years on [SATELLITE PARTY's debut] album 'Ultra Payloaded'," Nuno writes in a statement. "Although I am very proud of the music and production of 'Ultra Payloaded', I have always felt uncomfortable with the direction of the lineup and live show. I truly do believe in the songs and music on the album, and I wish Perry Farrell and any musician that remains on tour all the best."
