(PR) Hailing from a land where there are more sheep than people, then venturing Stateside only to be threatened with a legal suit from a Portland, OR based band with the same name. It would seem the odds of making a name for yourself on an international level, both on the street and in the press are somewhat slim. Cut Off Your Hands (formerly Shaky Hands) however, have defied all reason and pricked the ears of many with their raw riffs and rampant rhythms, their energy comparable to those of Punk popsmiths Klaxons and The Pigeon Detectives, be very excited for these New Zealanders who are about to shake your world with the release of their debut Shaky Hands EP on October 9th (IAMSOUND) and a US tour soon to be announced. On top of completing a monster summer tour of New Zealand with Shihad and the Datsuns, this ferocious quartet have been hiding away in a London studio recording their soon to be released LP with none other than Suede's Bernard Butler, the man responsible for playing on and producing bands and albums suchas The Libertines, The Verve and Manic Street Preachers.
