(PR) Ok this one is interesting. Here is a bit of a promo press release for a new documentary. No comment on that, however industrious readers that love to solve mysteries should check out the trailer linked at the end of the story and see if you can spot members of one of the most popular bands of the past decade. We could munky around and make it harder for you but we'll present you with the full press release and see if you can figure it out from the hints given there. Produciones Traducidos, in association with Cantankerous Media and The Institute of Devolutionary Studies announces the release of the award-winning and critically acclaimed documentary feature film DEVOLUTION: NATURE’s U-TURN, directed by Hugo Camacho-Weisman.
The film premieres theatrically in 6 major U.S. cities on Friday July 31, 2007. Limited release includes New York, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Chicago, Atlanta, and Kansas City. Wide release to follow Friday August 3, 2007. In the critically acclaimed documentary expose DEVOLUTION: NATURE’S U-TURN, leading experts from the field of devolution explore the science, psychology, and philosophical ramifications of Man’s rapid-rate undoing.
Director Hugo Camaco-Weisman stresses the importance of the film, saying “We now face a rapid expansion backwards. This affects us all. It is critical to the future of all humans that we spread the word.” Facing widespread opposition to the film from a multitude of sources, Robert Tibbons points out that “This movie speaks to something that gets to the very biological fabric of who we are. Devolution is going to happen, is happening now, and has happened. And the insane thing is that nobody knows about it.”
In the film, Dr. J. D. Cornelius, co-founder of the Institute of Devolutionary Studies, tells the audience what to look out for: “The formation of posterior tails. New hair spatter patterns. Eyeball enlargement. Hardening of the skeletal encasing. Marsupial palanthopy. Fallus engorgement for males and uterine marbelling for females. These are just some of the early signs of devolution.”
Refusing to bow to pressure from creationists, an exclusive interview with Barabus St. James, Professor of BioRhythmic Anthropology at the University of Honolulu says “If God didn’t want us to be talking about this, then He would have made devolution happen gradually. But it isn’t so. Devolution is happening a mile a minute.”
