Mando Diao Wildfire Happenings

07/05/07
.
(PR) Mando Diao will release "Wildfire" the second single from the critically acclaimed album "Ode To Ochrasy" digitally on July 3, 2007. The digital single includes the title track, a cover of The Beatles' "Hard Day's Night" and two additional B-sides; "With Or Without Love" and "Spit On Your Love." The video was shot on location in Southern California and directed by Emmy-award winning director Gilly Barnes (whose clients include Atlantic Records, Nike, Sony, ABC, and NBC).

Mando Diao – who is currently on a European Festival tour - will perform at the Live Earth Festival this Saturday July 7, 2007. Live Earth is a 24-hour, 7-continent concert series organized by Al Gore and Kevin Wall (of Live 8) that will bring together more than 100 musicians and 2 billion people to trigger a global movement to solve the climate crisis. Mando Diao will be appearing in Hamburg, Germany along with many other notable musicians committed to helping to bring attention to this critical issue, including Snoop Dogg, Chris Cornell. The Live Earth concert series will be broadcasted live on Sirius Satellite Radio.

On July 14, 2007, Sirius' "Left of Center" will also exclusively premier Mando Diao's recent performance at Germany's Rock am Ring Festival – where they headlined alongside Smashing Pumpkins to a crowd of 100,000! This segment will also include an exclusive interview with the band about their involvement with Live Earth.
