(PR) The Police, whose current concert tour kicked off in May with North American performances scheduled though November of this year, was the nation’s “Most Requested Event” in the first half of 2007 according to a mid-year report by Ticketmaster, the world’s leading ticketing company. The Police topped the mid-year chart, ranked by online page views, information requests, and ticket sales during the first half of the year, followed by Disney on Ice at #2 and Wicked at #3 following the Wicked’s run at the top of the chart for the past two quarters.
Further mid-year event rankings include The Police and Kenny Chesney as the top “Most Requested Concerts” followed by Dave Matthews Band and Jimmy Buffett ranking at #3 and #4 respectively.
