(PR) Florida Music Fest 2007 will take place May 16-20th with performances from 250 artists on 15 stages. As the largest music networking event in the southeast, the festival takes over the streets of Downtown Orlando each spring for 4 days of music, film, art and the sharing of industry knowledge. The festival kicks off this year with special opening night guest Flogging Molly on the mainstage.Selected artists will have the chance to perform on sold out stages from 500 capacity indoors, to 5000 capacity outdoors with bands like Less Than Jake, Third Eye Blind, Buckcherry, Early November, Academy Is, Everclear, Lit, Mofro and many more. Some of last year's signings included Big 10-4 (Universal) The Mile After (Drive-Thru/Rushmore) and Radio (Interscope)- all signing shortly after their FMF showcases. The music industry saturates the event with last year's attendees including names like Matt Pinfield(VH1), Ron Burman(Roadrunner/Nickelback), Steve Tramposch(Virgin/Red Jumpsuit Apparatus), John Janick(Fueled By Ramen/Panic!
