Winehouse Spits on Fans - Top Story of 07

[originally published 07/20/07](Contact Music) British singer AMY WINEHOUSE managed to sink to even lower depths than she had before with fans, after a catastrophic 'performance' in Cornwall.

The REHAB singer was appearing at the Eden Project this week - her first gig for two weeks after claiming "exhaustion" - when she dashed off stage during her first few songs.

In front of a frustrated and confused crowd, Amy then returned and proceeded to slap herself around the face and bash the microphone on her head. According to the Sun, she then forgot the lyrics to her songs, spat into the crowd and mumbled swear words. - more on this story
