[originally published 08/20/07](antiMusic) Uncle Kracker was arrested early Friday morning in Raleigh, North Carolina for sexually forcing himself on a woman in a night club. The former Kid Rock deejay was released on $75,000 bond Friday afternoon. The alleged victim, a 26-year-old woman approached an off-duty police officer at the Ess Lounge nightclub (where Kracker had performed Thursday night), and told the officer that Kracker, real name Matthew Shafer, had forced himself on her sexually. Police found Kracker at a nearby Embassy Suites Hotel and arrested him at around 4:45 a.m. Friday. He was booked on a charge of second-degree forcible sexual offense at the Wake County Jail. - more on this story
