Stars and Fans Send Holiday Messages to the Troops

. (http://www.mozes.com/troops) Major recording artists are joining forces to support the U.S. troops this holiday season. The Back Street Boys, Five for Fighting, Hinder, Jordin Sparks, Mario and Teddy Geiger have partnered with Mozes, along with Armed Forces Entertainment, to leave voice messages for the troops.

“Voices from America,” powered by Mozes, lets artists and bands leave voice messages for the troops. Anyone can call into the “Voices from America” number (1-888-312-2612) to hear the artists’ messages and leave a holiday message of their own. All messages will be displayed on the “Voices from America” widget, accessible at each of the artists’ MySpace pages. Troops serving overseas will have access to all of the messages from those back home through the support of Armed Forces Entertainment and other Department of Defense organizations.

“When servicemen and women are away from homes and their families, they need as much support as we can give—especially during the holidays,” said U.S. Air Force Colonel and Armed Forces Entertainment Chief Edward Shock. “The support of the entertainment community, along with companies like Mozes, is crucial. Leave a message, send your voice and your good thoughts to those you know or those you are thinking about. It’s a powerful way to say thank you for all of the constant sacrifices our troops are making.”

More than 20 artists have recently launched a voice program using Mozes. Already, three artists have reached over 125,000 fans. Fans get a personal message from the artist and can leave their own voice message.
