(PR) Rise To Addiction round off a successful year with two UK shows this month. The band play Bradford Gasworks on 17th December, where they will support Brit alt-rockers INME. They then play a special Xmas show at Sheffield Corporation on 21st December. Also on the bill will be Hooker Bentley, Tiananmen and Axis Dynyd. 2007 has been an eventful year for the band who have gone from strength to strength since signing with Mausoleum Records in February. Their debut album, 'A New Shade Of Black For The Soul' - produced by the band, with the final mix completed by Andy Sneap (Machine Head, Trivium, Megadeth) - was released in Europe in May, receiving fervent reviews across the media. It also proved a popular choice with radio stations in the USA on it's release stateside in October, where it was the Number 3 most added album to radio play lists on the CMJ Loud Rock report and the Number 5 most added on the FMQB Pure Spins reports. The band have recently started writing sessions for their next album and are already in talks with potential producers. Recording is expected to start early next year with a release expected in late 2008. - Myspace page
