Gamblin' House Comin

(PR) In January 2008, Echo Mountain Records will release Gamblin' House, by Malcolm Holcombe. The album is a fresh take on Holcombe's highly distinctive rustic music and lyricism.

Gambiln' House was recorded at Echo Mountain Studios in Asheville, NC by legendary country producer Ray Kennedy. Gamblin' House will be available digitally on January 15th and lands in stores on January 28th.

You will hear echoes of John Prine, Guy Clark, and the lesser-known kindred spirit Bill Morrissey, but the total package is all Malcolm Holcombe. It is a sound that combines his signature rough and scratchy vocals with harmonica-blessed folk, acoustic blues, stringband country, and small town bred soul.
