(Contact Music) We've seen all of the lame celebutard fashion lines and even "sports drinks" but here is news about a band branding we can get behind! Contact Music has the story: British rockers Maximo Park are celebrating their forthcoming gig in their hometown of Newcastle, England, by launching their own brand of beer. The band will see their image printed on bottles of the new Maximo Brown Ale - a rebranded version of the famous Newcastle Brown Ale - and distributed across the U.K. later this month (Dec07). Tyneside Brewers, who produce the beverage, invited the group to design their own brand of beer ahead of their concert at the city's Metro Radio Arena on 15 December (07). - more on this story
