(antiMusic) BW&BK is reporting that Van Halen has added a new date to their reunion tour. At press time, there was no confirmation on this from the Van Halen camp. That being said BW&BK says that the band has booked a November 10th date at the The Bell Centre in Montreal, QC.As we previously reported, this will be the first time that Roth will tour with Van Halen in 22 years (The 1984 tour). The group revealed during a press conference earlier this month that they have been rehearsing together for the past four months.
As if news of David Lee Roth joining his former Van Halen bandmates Eddie and Alex for a reunion tour wasn't enough, the band says that a new album may be on the way soon as well.
Looking to the future Roth said that they are "plotting and planning" a new album. "Saving the world is (U2 singer) Bono's job. We just want to save a hundred cities," Roth said. "Then we want to save Europe, then we want to save Japan, Australia and ... Hong Kong. Then we make an album. Lots of big dreams here, lots of ambition."
