(antiMusic) UK Punk pioneers the Vibrators are celebrating their 31st anniversary with a new US tour. The month and half long trek will kick off on September 6th at Brick By Brick in San Diego make its way across the US before wrapping up in Los Angeles on October 21st. UK fans don't feel left out as the band plans some pretty extensive touring in their homeland following the US tour. Those dates lick off on October 26th in Cambridge and will run sporadically through December and include two free shows- Newcastle on Nov 9th and Gateshead on Dec 2nd.
According to their website The Vibrators most recent album was a '77 punk covers CD for US label Cleopatra. Called "PUNK: THE EARLY YEARS". It includes a version of the Dead Boys "SONIC REDUCER" featuring Wayne Kramer (MC5) on vocals, and Leonard (The Dickies) singing Motorhead's "VIBRATOR"
