(antiMusic) Most people have a price but it looks like $75 million isn't enough to convince Morrissey to reunite with Johnny Marr for a Smiths reunion. Morrissey's publicist told Billboard that Moz turned down a cool $75 million for a Smiths reunion that required guitarist Johnny Marr to take part. The offer was for a 2008 and/or 2009 tour according to the report.
This isn't the first time that Moz has turned down millions for a reunion. The Smiths reportedly were offered a multi-million dollar deal to perform at the Coachella Valley Music & Arts Festival.
American fans won't get a Smith reunion but they will have the chance to see Morrissey this year as he heads out on a solo tour next month. Here are the dates:
