(PR) MagiQuest, a live-action interactive adventure game, will host Blackmore’s Night, a popular folk/rock band with renaissance overtones, in concert on Saturday, October 27 at 9:30 p.m. at the Myrtle Beach Convention Center. The Blackmore’s Night concert will serve as the headlining event for MagiQuest’s 2007 HallowFest weekend – three days of Halloween themed events that include an evening masquerade ball, a private charity-based signing with Princess Candice Night, a Halloween family festival and costume contest.
Blackmore’s Night, comprised of legendary guitarist Ritchie Blackmore and award-winning singer songwriter Candice Night, is known around the world for their powerful lyrics and melodic tunes such as “Under a Violet Moon”, “Faerie Queen” and “Fires at Midnight”. Blackmore’s Night’s Myrtle Beach concert will be the last stop on their United States tour.
Tickets for the Myrtle Beach concert are $35 each and will go on sale on Monday, August 27 at 9:00 a.m.
“Blackmore’s Night has gained much recognition throughout the world since their inception more than 10 years ago,” said Denise Weston, president of Creative Kingdoms, developer of MagiQuest. “We hold a special place in our hearts for Blackmore’s Night as they have recorded several songs for MagiQuest and Candice actually portrays Princess Candice in several of our quests and adventures. Blackmore’s Night has gained a strong following in the South and we are looking forward to hosting them in concert as we celebrate the magic of the Halloween season.”
The Myrtle Beach Blackmore’s Night concert features general admission seating only. Doors open at 8:15 p.m. for those dressed in renaissance costumes and 8:30 p.m. for the general public.
