Ryan Adams Give Up Coke and Heroin

(antiMusic) Ryan Adams tells Rolling Stone that he's staying clean from cocaine, heroin and alcohol after using the lethal combination to keep going while recording. "I'd wake up, work, go for a drink or two and be exhausted," Adams told Rolling Stone. "I would have drugs to keep my physical being going in order to never have to stop working in the night." Adams also had a bit more effective warning about staying away from drugs than the old' "Just Say No" line. "Think about falling off a bicycle and smashing your nuts on that bar, or the most horrible sports accident you can think of," Adams said. "That doesn't cover what it would be like for me to imagine drinking or doing drugs again."
