The Henry Rollins Show airs every Friday night at 11:00 PM EST on IFC.August 17 marks the U.S. television debut for internationally celebrated artist Manu Chao. Widely heralded as the pioneer of Latin alternative music, Chao is multilingual and. multicultural, blending rock, reggae, punk, ska and more. In an exclusive interview for IFC.com, Chao discusses the importance of music in society. Chao says, "This question they ask me very often, 'can music change the world?' It can help, but it's not a question only of musicians, now the situation is so bad that we need musicians, we need the taxi drivers, we need fishermen, we need students, we need workers, we need everybody.
