(PR) Monotreme Records, the same people who brought you Barzin’s critically applauded full-length, My Life In Rooms, is scheduled to release the band’s Just More Drugs EP on May 29th. The EP will feature the full-length’s version of the tune along with two radio session tracks recorded during Barzin’s May tour of the UK (“Just More Drugs” and “Let's Go Driving”), a new song “Queen Jane”, plus a cover of a Tindersticks song, “Mistakes”, which was recorded for Canadian radio earlier in the year. The Canadian singer/songwriter plans to embark on a tour of the east and west coast to support Just More Drugs’ release. The EP was released in Europe last November, coinciding with Barzin’s shows there. This year will also see the long awaited re-release of Barzin's first, self-titled album in Europe, and it will include bonus tracks and the Vincent Moon directed video for “Leaving Time”, as well.
