(PR) Los Angeles-based ACUTE will celebrate the May 1 release of their debut album ARMS AROUND A STRANGER by taking off in a hot air balloon this Friday, April 20 in Temecula, CA. For ARMS AROUND A STRANGER, ACUTE--vocalist/guitarist ISAAC LEKACH and drummer PATRICK EDWARDS (ex-Ozma)--returned to the studio with producer Dave Trumfio (Wilco, My Morning Jacket), who worked on their 2006 EP Selections. The album expands on the EP by utilizing pedal steel guitars, piano, strings and a horn section to fashion their finely etched landscapes of sound.
