According to MTV, Ozzy is currently writing a Broadway musical. 

The subject matter of the production? 

His life story? -No. 

Biting the heads off bats? -No. 

The Prince of Darkness is basing his play on Grigory Rasputin, the scandalous unordained monk who played a part in bringing down the Russian monarchy through his influence over Tsarina Alexandra, who he reportedly advised on various issues of state. 

Historians concur that Alexandra believed that Rasputin was sent by God, since he appeared to have the power to cure her son Alexei from symptoms of hemophilia. 

Russian aristocrats eventually murdered Raputin because they feared his influence over the failing monarchy. Prince Felix Yusupovsky shot him in the head after the first attempt at poisoning failed. 

It would actually make for an interesting production if done right. We will have to wait and see if the Ozzman can succeed in this quest. 

Ozzy told MTV that he has material already written and plans to record some of it in his new home studio. 

He also said that any future recordings would be released independently, since he left Epic records. 

Ozzy’s wife and manager pulled him from the label after they reportedly dropped daughter Kelly from the roster following disappointing sales of her debut album. Kelly’s failed attempt at a musical career got a second chance when Sharon landed her a deal with Sanctuary records, who will be re-releasing her album.
