Courtney Love Delays Arraignment On Drug Charge

Courtney will face the music on Halloween.
On Friday (Oct 10) her attorneys postponed her arraignment on a misdemeanor
drug charge until October 31st.
The controversial Love was not in court
on Friday when her attorneys requested that her arraignment be delayed
for three to four weeks so they could review the charge. The prosecutor,
Deputy City Attorney Matthew Schonbrun did not object to the delay.
Last Wednesday, Love was charged with a
misdemeanor count of being under the influence of a controlled substance.
She faces up to a year in jail if she is convicted on the charge.
Love was arrested on October 2nd after
breaking windows at a friends house in an attempt to get inside. She was
booked and then released on $2500 bail, only to be rushed to the hospital
less than an hour later for a drug overdose.
