Update: Rapper
Tray Deee was arrested late Friday for allegedly shooting at a crowd of
people outside of a California business.
"Someone fired a handgun in the direction
of individuals in front of an establishment. Someone identified him as
a possible suspect," said Officer Jana Blair of the Long Beach Police Department.
Police arrested the 37-year-old rapper,
real name Tray Muhammad, at his Fontana home late Friday. He was booked
for felony assault with a deadly weapon and held on $50,000 bail.
No one was injured. Police are investigating
the incident and expect to present details of the case to the Los Angeles
District Attorneys office later this week. It will then be determined
if formal charges will be made.
Deee is best known as a member of the hip-hop
group Tha Eastsidaz and his associations and collaborations with Snoop
Dogg.
