STP frontman Scott Weiland once again faces
drug charges. Weiland has been formally charged with possession of cocaine
and heroin, following an arrest Saturday night in Burbank California.
Weiland was pulled over by Burbank police
shortly before midnight on Saturday for reportedly driving without his
headlights on. Police say they spotted a syringe in the car and upon a
further search discovered cocaine and heroin.
Weiland and his passenger, Jennifer Lynn
Sires were both arrested. Weiland was released from jail on Sunday after
posting $25,000 bail.
There is no indication how this arrest
will effect Weilands new gig as the frontman of the band featuring former
Guns N Rosers Slash, Duff McKagan and Matt Sorum.
